This Privacy Policy explains how CreHydrate ("CreHydrate," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you use CreHydrate, including the iOS and Android versions of the mobile application, related websites, support pages, and any connected services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "App" or "Services").

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

1. Important Wellness and Health Notice

CreHydrate is a hydration and wellness tracking app. It is designed to help users record hydration habits, supplement intake, activity-related preferences, and related wellness information. CreHydrate is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, does not diagnose or treat any health condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical care.

Information you enter into the App, such as body weight, hydration goals, creatine intake, supplement selections, drink logs, activity level, climate preference, and related wellness information, may be personal information and may be considered health-related or sensitive information under some privacy laws. We use this information only as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not currently operate through a registered company or separate legal entity. Where an app store displays a developer or seller name, that name identifies the responsible developer for this App.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you use the Services.

3.1 Account Information

• Name or display name

• Authentication identifiers assigned by our authentication provider
• Account creation date and account status
• Password authentication data, which is handled by our authentication provider and is not visible to us in plain text
• Password reset and sign-in related records needed to operate account access

3.2 Hydration, Supplement, and Wellness Information

When you complete onboarding, update your profile, or use tracking features, we may collect information you choose to provide, including:

• Body weight
• Gender selection
• Activity or training level
• Climate preference
• Daily hydration target
• Preferred volume unit
• Notification and reminder preferences
• Whether you use supplements
• Creatine grams or other supplement amounts you log
• Supplement types you select, such as vitamin D, vitamin C, omega-3, magnesium, zinc, or similar categories
• Drink logs, including drink type, serving size, volume, servings, date, time, and estimated hydration totals
• Daily hydration progress and related calculated summaries

3.3 Device, App, and Technical Information

We and our service providers may process technical information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Services, such as:

• Device type, operating system, app version, language, and region settings
• IP address and network-related information
• Firebase or platform-generated identifiers used to authenticate users, secure sessions, provide database services, or prevent abuse
• Diagnostic information, error data, and performance-related information, where enabled by the platform or service provider
• Notification permission status and local notification scheduling information

3.4 Support and Communications

3.5 Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Unless a future version of the App clearly asks for it and you grant permission, we do not intentionally collect:

• Apple Health, HealthKit, Google Fit, or Health Connect data

We do not use your hydration, supplement, or wellness information to serve targeted advertising.

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:

• Contract: to provide the Services you request, including account access, sync, and app functionality
• Consent: when you choose to enter wellness information, enable notifications, or give permission for optional features

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, but doing so may limit certain features.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6.1 Service Providers

We use service providers to operate the Services. These providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services, maintain security, and comply with applicable law.

Current service providers may include:

• Firebase / Google Cloud services for authentication, cloud database storage, app infrastructure, security, and related technical operations
• Apple and Google mobile platforms for app distribution, device-level permissions, local notification delivery, app review, and store operations
• Email or support tools, if used to respond to user requests

6.2 Legal, Safety, and Compliance

We may disclose information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law, court orders, subpoenas, or legal process
• Protect the rights, safety, and property of users, us, or others

Firebase and Google Cloud may process personal information as service providers for authentication, database storage, security, and related infrastructure. Their processing is governed by their applicable service terms and data processing terms.

Apple and Google may process information independently when you download, update, review, or interact with the App through the App Store or Google Play. Your use of those platforms is governed by Apple and Google's own terms and privacy policies.

8. Data Storage and Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Services.

Typical retention practices include:

• Account information is generally retained while your account remains active.
• Hydration and supplement logs associated with your account are generally retained until you delete them, delete your account, or request deletion.
• Local app preferences may remain on your device until you delete the App, clear app data, or reset settings.
• Backups, security logs, and records needed for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes may be retained for a limited period after deletion requests where permitted by law.

When we no longer need information, we delete it, de-identify it, or aggregate it.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by:

If you contact us by email, please use the email address associated with your CreHydrate account. We may ask for additional information to verify that you are authorized to request deletion of the account.

What Will Be Deleted

When your deletion request is verified and processed, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, which may include:

• Account profile information, such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, and account metadata
• Cloud-stored supplement logs, including creatine grams and selected supplement types
• Cloud-stored hydration or wellness logs, if applicable
• Account-associated app preferences stored in our backend systems
• Other personal information associated with your account that we are not legally required or permitted to keep

Deleting your account may permanently remove your ability to access cloud-synced App data.

What May Not Be Deleted Immediately

Some information may not be deleted immediately or may be retained in limited form where permitted or required by law, including:

• Information retained for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or legal compliance
• Records needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements
• Backup copies that are deleted on the normal backup lifecycle
• Information that has been de-identified or aggregated so that it no longer identifies you
• Information held by Apple, Google, or other third-party platforms under their own terms and privacy policies

Local Device Data

Deleting your account does not necessarily remove all local data from your device. You can remove local App data by deleting the App from your device or clearing app data through your device settings, depending on your platform.

App Store or Google Play Subscriptions

If CreHydrate offers subscriptions or paid features in the future, deleting your CreHydrate account may not automatically cancel subscriptions managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. You may need to cancel subscriptions directly through the applicable app marketplace.

Processing Time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable time and, where applicable law sets a deadline, within that deadline. We may contact you if we need additional information to verify or complete your request.

10. Your Choices and Controls

You may control certain information and permissions directly in the App or through your device settings:

• Account: update account details where supported or contact us for assistance
• Hydration profile: update body weight, activity level, climate, units, supplement preferences, and related settings in the App
• Notifications: enable or disable notifications in the App or in your device settings
• Local data: remove the App or clear app data according to your device settings
• Account deletion: request deletion using the methods described above

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

• Access personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Delete personal information
• Request a copy of your personal information
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

11.1 California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under the age required to consent to data processing in your country, you may use the Services only with appropriate parental or guardian consent.

15. App Store and Google Play Privacy Disclosures

We are responsible for keeping App Store and Google Play privacy disclosures accurate and consistent with this Privacy Policy. Store disclosures may summarize the categories of data collected, whether data is linked to you, and how data is used.
